Flourishing Day Spa Franchise Announces Multi-Unit Deal that Will Bring Three MassageLuXe Spas to Detroit-Area Suburbs

As a self-made man who was on his own at age 17, Reuben put himself through school, graduated from the University of Michigan, and built a successful business in the office supply industry that he has owned and managed for more than 20 years. The lifelong entrepreneur is ready for another challenge. His search for the right opportunity will benefit spa goers in three Detroit-area suburbs, as Reuben is the newest member of the MassageLuXe franchise family.

Reuben prioritizes self-care to put his best foot forward as a business owner, husband, and father of four. He was first introduced to MassageLuXe as a customer at the franchise’s location in Novi in 2013 where he eventually became a member.

During his routine visits to the Novi spa, Reuben got to know the franchise owner and area developer, Surinder Judge, who raved about spa ownership as a great business opportunity. Reuben remembers, “He shared some numbers with me. As a business owner, I was really impressed with his annual sales. I said, ‘What? You’re telling me out of this location, you’re kicking out that volume?’”

Reuben wasted no time doing further research, and his interest in opening his own MassageLuXe spas only grew stronger. “As someone who built a business from scratch, the franchise model looks so much easier. The recipe is right in front of me, I just need to follow it.”

Reuben is trusting his business instincts and signed a multi-unit franchise agreement with MassageLuXe. He plans to open his spas in early 2022. “I’m starting with three locations, and who knows from there! I have high expectations, and aspirations of opening more spas in the area as I grow my new businesses.”

Reuben’s first location is underway, opening at the Bloomfield Town Square in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Work is also in progress for the other two locations in Shelby Township and Rochester Hills.
